Our mission
To make high-quality rehabilitation reachable for every Karachi household — especially the patients for whom leaving the house is the hardest part of the week.
Fumora is a Karachi home-care rehabilitation service: physiotherapists, orthotists and prosthetists working from one shared plan, in the place where recovery actually has to hold up.
Fumora began as a small physiotherapy practice. What our founders noticed, over and over, was that the treatment was rarely the thing that failed. Attendance was.
A patient six days after knee surgery cannot sit in a car for forty minutes. An elderly mother who needs two people to help her downstairs will tell her family she is fine rather than put them through it again. A child with cerebral palsy behaves completely differently in an unfamiliar room than at home.
So we stopped asking patients to come to us. Today our therapists, orthotists and prosthetists travel across Karachi with their equipment, and the assessment happens in the same room where the exercises will be done all week.
Not attendance, not session numbers. Whether you can do the thing you could not do before.
To make high-quality rehabilitation reachable for every Karachi household — especially the patients for whom leaving the house is the hardest part of the week.
A city where a brace, a prosthetic limb and the therapy to use them are arranged by one team in one plan, instead of three separate appointments across three suburbs.
We will tell you honestly how long recovery should take, what progress looks like, and when you no longer need us. Nobody is kept on the books for the sake of it.
All three disciplines review every case together, so the device and the therapy are designed for each other.
Range of motion, strength and gait recorded at every visit and compared against the last one.
Braces and prosthetics are refitted as your body changes — and children's devices as they grow.
We say up front how many weeks this should take. If we are wrong, we tell you why, not quietly extend.
Yes. Treatment couches, resistance equipment, electrotherapy units and casting materials all travel with the therapist. All we need from you is a clear floor space roughly the size of a single bed.
Yes, and it is a common request. Mention it when you book and we will assign a female therapist for the full course of treatment, not just the first visit.
We cover most of the city, including DHA, Clifton, Gulshan, North Nazimabad, PECHS, Bahadurabad, Malir and Gulistan-e-Johar. If you are outside our usual radius, call us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you well.
No. You can book directly. If your case needs a specialist opinion alongside physiotherapy, our clinicians will tell you at the assessment rather than treating around the problem.
Measurements and casting happen in your home. Fabrication happens at our Karachi workshop, then the device is delivered, fitted and adjusted at home — and reviewed again a few weeks later.
One home visit tells us more than a phone description ever will. Most patients are seen within the same week they call.
